You can launch 24/7 pre-recorded live streams only on Telegram channels. For these, follow next steps:
- Get the stream data
- Go to the channel chat, click the message icon at the top right, and select Stream with to use Gyre. Obtain the server URL and stream key.
- Create a stream on Gyre
- Go to your personal account's Live Streams section and click the Add Stream button.
- In the settings window, enter the stream name, select Telegram, and add the copied key and link.
- Click Next and select the desired files or playlists in the Video tab. Then, click Save & Close to save the settings.
- Start the stream
- Start the stream on Telegram.
- Return to the channel and click Start Streaming. The call window may be gray or blank for up to 5 seconds while the data buffers.
- Note: You can launch only one stream on the channel simultaneously.
- Ending the stream
- Go to the Gyre account and stop the stream. Then, return to the Telegram channel, click the three dots on the left, and select End Live Stream.
- Important: If you stop the stream only from the Gyre side, the stream in the channel will continue, but viewers will only see the last frame.
