Preparing the video file you want to stream is crucial to getting a stable and high-quality Gyre stream. YouTube Help Center can help you select the necessary parameters for streaming.

For example, let's look at the requirements for video files in the most common 1080p format. The video should have a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, which is Full HD, and a video stream bitrate between 3072 and 6144 kbps.

Video with parameters lower or higher than the specified range is not recommended. The lower the quality of your video, the fewer users will be interested in it. If the video parameters are higher, it may also affect the quality of the stream on YouTube.

You can check if your video file meets the required parameters in your Gyre account. You can do it when uploading a new file or checking it in the Storage. To do this, go to the Storage section, select the desired file, and click the three dots near it. Now you need to choose Check in the list of actions. The parameters that need to be modified in a new window will be highlighted in red. You can then optimize the selected video file.

Gyre does not limit the length of the video clip you wish to broadcast. However, your subscription plan's drive space is limited.

For example, the drive space for the Start+ plan is 75 GB, while it’s 150GB for the Pro+ plan. Additionally, up to 7 GB of this space will take up system files.

The minimum duration of a video should be at least 30 minutes. Shorter streams may be blocked by YouTube. We recommend that you use videos that are at least 1 hour long. This is the optimal video length to retain your audience.
